Andamp

It whips!

A music player for Android that looks and works like Winamp 2.8. The draggable windows, the equalizer and the playlist are all there, rebuilt for your phone. It plays your own files, internet radio, and music from your own server.

What’s in it

  1. Classic skins, straight from the Skin Museum
  2. Music sources: your own server, Jellyfin or Librespot next to the songs on your phone
  3. Ten-band equalizer, effects and visualizers
  4. Effect plug-ins: put effects in any order you like, and add more
  5. Internet radio: add any stream address
  6. Always on top: the player floats over other apps
  7. Touch-friendly: long-press anything that’s hard to reach
  8. Nothing to sign up for, and no ads or tracking
  9. Open source: the code is on GitHub

Music sources

Not all your music lives on your phone. A music source is a small app that brings it into Andamp. The songs show up in the Media Library and in your playlists, and you get the same equalizer, effects and visualizers. Music sources need Andamp 0.5.0 or newer.
